Traveling around the world is another one of my passions and it goes without saying that food is an integral part of it. Being a vegetarian has its own challenges and here I want to add my stories of my quest for vegetarian food, through my travels.

We are here in Seychelles, an exotic country with one of the worlds best beaches . It has a breathtaking combination of mountains, ocean and loads of tropical trees. At the hotel here we do have a few vegetarian choices but if you are there for more than a couple of days then it gets repetitive. In Mahe, the main island in Seychelles, there are many restaurants along the Beau Vallon beach , and here we discovered the LA PLAGE restaurant. The place had some good vegetarian options .

The vegetable risotto had the freshness of asparagus, bell peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms and the portion size was good too ..
